Flatbed printing is the digital reproduction of images on flat surfaces. Our system utilizes a 6-color (CMYKlclm), UV cured inkjet process which allows for a broader gamut and precise color matching with resolutions up to 720×1440dpi - in other words, photo quality on a massive scale.
UV cured inkjet printing systems bring additional advantages compared to other digital inkjet systems, such as zero drying time, which yields faster turnaround times. UV inks are also compatible with a wider selection of media in comparison with solvent inks resulting in a more cost-effective range of choices. To further increase the turnaround time and lower overall cost, UV cured inks are durable enough to often eliminate the need for lamination.
Generally, the UV cured inks will last for 3 to 5 years in an outdoor setting. Because UV inks stay on the media surface and do not absorb into the media in the way that solvent inks do, print and color quality is more consistent from media to media.
